Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck finalise DIVORCE after after 2 years of marriage

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have officially finalized their divorce, just 20 weeks after Lopez filed for separation. Despite ongoing rumours of a potential reconciliation, a source has confirmed that the couple is prioritizing co-parenting their children to ensure their happiness. The Hollywood stars, aged 52 and 55 respectively, have now completed the divorce process, which was reported by People magazine.

Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck officially divorced

Lopez filed for divorce on August 20, 2024. This cited irreconcilable differences, exactly two years after their lavish wedding ceremony in Georgia. The couple had a brief engagement in the early 2000s before parting ways in 2004. However, they rekindled their romance in 2021 and married in July 2022.

Both stars have children from previous relationships: Jennifer Lopez shares twins Max and Emme, 16, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Ben Affleck has three children—Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12—with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Following the divorce filing, the former couple was seen spending time together with their children, indicating their commitment to co-parenting.

Recent speculation about a reconciliation arose when Lopez was spotted visiting Affleck’s home with her child. However, a source clarified that while they maintain a close relationship for the sake of their kids, they are not getting back together. JLo-Affleck marriage didn’t have prenup
